Honda Fit New Model Is A Perfect Fit.

Due to high gas price, environmental activism and economic uncertainty, people are switching to small and efficient vehicles.

Amongst the ideal small vehicles, we have the thoroughly new 2009 Honda Fit, you’ve got to see and drive it to believe.

Being Honda's smallest car, it has an innovative and upgraded interior and is fun-to-drive and also efficient.

It simply fits what many people actually need from their cars.

Honda is trying to stay one step ahead of ever-growing crowd of competitors like the Nissan Versa, Scion xD.

That is the reason why, they've kept the Fit fresh, giving Honda Fit a redo two years after its debut in North America as a 2007 model.

The new 2009 release has a more upscale and driver-friendly exterior design and an improved interior with better materials and seats.

The 2007 release had an amazingly configurable interior called ‘magic seat’, because of the multitude of ways in which the second row could be folded, this feature remains for the 2009 model year, with an addition of a secret compartment at the seat bottom.

The 2009 is more powerful, with Honda's new 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine giving it more horsepower and torque. Chassis and suspension improvement and larger wheels adds to comfort.

It is fuel efficient, earning an EPA of 27/33 mpg City/Highway. The 1.5-liter engine delivers 117-horsepower at 6600 rpm and 106 pound-feet of torque at 4800 rpm.

The 2009 Honda Fit Sport ($16,060), and Fit Sport with Satellite Navigation and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) ($17,910).

It comes with five-speed manual and automatic gearbox.

Safety features on all models include front and side airbags and side curtain airbags.
